TRAFFIC CLARIFICATION - CONTINUOUS CENTRE LINES

ImageProxy

You can cross a single continuous centre line to enter or leave a road, including entering or leaving a property, or to pass a cyclist.

However, you can’t cross a single continuous centre line to:

    - overtake another motorist
    - do a U-turn.

ImageProxyWhere there is a single continuous dividing line to the left of a broken line you can cross the
dividing line to enter or leave a property or road. You are also permitted to cross a continuous
dividing line to safely pass cyclists. You cannot overtake from the same side of the road as
the continuous line, or do a U-turn.

Where there is a double continuous centre line, you are only permitted to cross it if you are
safely passing a cyclist. Section 132, 134 and 139A of the Queensland Road Rules apply.

Many Hands Make Light Work!

Start thinking about what you can do to help your club?

There are vacancies on committee and sub-committee.

Not sure on where you'd be most helpful..speak to one of the committee members and ask them what they do. They will be able to suggest some roles that you can do...from an executive committee position to just a few hours on competition days - there's something for everyone.
